Resurfacing vs Repairing or Replacing

Rubber Stone Atlanta > Covering Existing Surfaces

Resurface with Rubber Stone or Vuba Stone

Repairing and replacing concrete and asphalt is common for homeowners and commercial business owners. As concrete and asphalt ages it usually requires fixing cracks, sealcoating, and other methods of repair to extend the life of the surface. This is common for driveways, pool decks, walkways and other surfaces.

Replacing a concrete driveway, pool deck, or patio can be expensive and usually takes several days to a week to complete. During this time, the area isn't usable for the homeowner. Not only does it take a long time, heavy machinery is used and this often leads to damaged landscaping, left over debris, and even traffic interruptions.

At Rubber Stone Atlanta, we want you to help avoid all the frustration of working with a concrete or asphalt contractor to repair and replace your existing surface. Instead, we will simply cover it up and have it looking as good as new in no time!

Repair Damaged Concrete by Resurfacing it

Up until now you probably thought there are no other options for damaged concrete than concrete repair by a licensed concrete contractor. Luckily, there is. As you can see in the before and after photos above, we can take an existing driveway, pool deck, or other concrete surface and make it look like new again without ever removing the existing surface. Rubber Stone and Vuba Stone are simply applied directly to the existing surface. It's that easy!

Driveway Replacement Alternative

Resurfacing is much better than replacing an existing driveway for a few reasons. One of the reasons is when you replace concrete with concrete, you are going to get the same results. Cracks will start to form within a few months to a year, water will get into the cracks, and further damage will happen. When you resurface with poured-in-place rubber and natural stone, the surface is bound together by epoxy and has the benefit of flexibility. As the surface underneath expands and contracts, so does the finished surface. While concrete cracks due to expansion and contraction, Rubber Stone does not.
